Mega Sharpedo ex PFL 127, Pokémon - stage 1 mega ex, designed by nagimiso first released in Dec, 2025 in the set Phantasmal Flames.
Mega Sharpedo ex PFL 127 would fit best in an aggressive Darkness-type deck that can both accelerate Energy quickly and reliably place damage counters on its own Pokémon (such as through self-damage effects or tanking a hit) to unlock **Hungry Jaws** for 270 damage, which is a strong knockout number; however, its Stage 1 Mega Evolution requirement, the need to already have damage on it, and the heavy 3-Prize liability make it comparatively slow and risky in faster formats. Darkness decks generally perform better with more efficient attackers like **Darkrai-EX (Dark Cloak / Dark Pulse)** in Expanded formats or more modern single-Prize or lower-risk multi-Prize attackers that hit high numbers without needing self-damage setup. Because Mega Evolutions also end your turn upon evolving (under older rules), this card is generally outclassed by faster, more consistent options, so while it can hit very hard under the right conditions, it would usually not see competitive play compared to more
