About Biomantic Mastery
Biomantic Mastery, Sorcery, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in May, 2006 in the set Dissension and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on creature-heavy strategies, such as a Simic (Green/Blue) ramp or midrange deck, would benefit from Biomantic Mastery as it provides significant card draw potential based on the number of creatures controlled by two different players. However, a card like Prime Speaker Zegana may be a better option for similar effects, as it allows for drawing cards based on the power of a single creature, potentially providing more value in a more focused deck. While Biomantic Mastery could see play in certain creature-centric decks, its high mana cost and reliance on opponents' board states may limit its overall effectiveness in competitive play.
