Venusaur-EX GEN 1, Pokémon - basic ex, designed by Eske Yoshinob first released in May, 2022 in the set Generations.
A deck focused on Grass-type Pokémon and status conditions like Sleep and Poison would benefit from including Venusaur-EX GEN 1. However, in the current meta, there are stronger Grass-type EX cards with more powerful abilities and attacks, such as Shaymin-EX or Virizion-EX, making Venusaur-EX GEN 1 less competitive. It might not see much play in top-tier decks, but could still be fun to use in more casual or theme-based decks.
