Stronghold Gambit, Sorcery, designed by Greg Hildebrandt & Tim Hildebrandt first released in May, 2020 in the set Nemesis.
A deck that focuses on low-cost creatures and wants to quickly get them onto the battlefield would benefit from using Stronghold Gambit. However, there are better cards like Aether Vial or Collected Company that provide more consistent and powerful creature deployment options. Stronghold Gambit could be situational and risky to use, so it may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
