About Soul Echo

Soul Echo, Enchantment, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Oct, 1996 in the set Mirage. It's a key card in 2 combos.

This card, Soul Echo, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and preventing damage. It could be particularly useful in a deck that aims to win through alternate win conditions rather than traditional combat damage. While Soul Echo has its niche uses, there are potentially better options available such as Solitary Confinement or Forcefield, which offer similar protections but with more versatility and impact on the game. Overall, Soul Echo could see play in certain niche strategies but may not be a staple in most competitive decks.

Rules

10/04/04

If you have more than one Soul Echo, the opponent chooses which ones will be replacing damage that turn (if any). And when damage happens, you decide which one of the ones the opponent selected that you want the damage to be replaced with, but the damage all goes to one of them.

10/04/04

In a multi-player game, you choose a new opponent during each of your upkeeps.
