Monferno PLS 16, , designed by Masakazu Fukuda first released in May, 2022 in the set Plasma Storm and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on disruption and control would benefit from using Monferno PLS 16 due to its ability to force the opponent to switch their active Pokémon with a benched one. However, there are better cards with similar disruptive effects, such as Guzma, which allows the player to choose which Pokémon to switch. Monferno PLS 16 may not see much play in competitive decks due to the availability of more versatile and efficient options.
