A deck focused on disruption and control would benefit from including Ivysaur EX 82, as its Sleep Seed attack can stall opponents by putting their Active Pokémon to sleep. However, there are better options available, such as Vileplume from the same set, which can lock Item cards and abilities. Ivysaur EX 82 may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited utility compared to other cards with stronger disruptive effects.
