A deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's strategy and causing status conditions would benefit from including Gloom UD 27. However, there are better options available such as Vileplume UD 24, which not only has a stronger attack but also has the ability to shut down your opponent's Trainer cards. Gloom UD 27 could see play in more casual or themed decks, but for competitive play, there are more effective choices.
