Dose of Dawnglow would fit best in a black-based midrange or control deck that wants instant-speed reanimation for value or surprise blockers, especially in formats where sacrificing or reusing creatures with strong enter-the-battlefield effects is common; however, the five-mana cost is already on the high side for reanimation, and the conditional downside of blight 2 (putting two -1/-1 counters on a creature you control outside your main phase) makes it awkward in reactive play, which is exactly when instant speed would matter most. Decks built around counter synergies or creatures that benefit from -1/-1 counters might mitigate that drawback, but generally there are stronger options: Zombify and Victimize are cheaper sorcery-speed reanimation spells, Persist and Animate Dead are more mana-efficient, and powerful staples like Reanimate or Necromancy outperform this in most formats.
