A deck centered around accelerating Fire Energy and quickly powering up Fire-type attacks would benefit from including Charmander BCR 18. However, for more versatility and higher damage output, better Fire-type Pokémon such as Charizard-GX or Volcanion-EX might be preferred choices. Charmander BCR 18 could see situational play in decks focusing on Fire acceleration, but it may not be a top priority card for competitive play.
