Acidic Dagger, Artifact, designed by Stuart Beel first released in May, 2020 in the set Mirage.
Acidic Dagger would fit well in a control or tempo deck that focuses on creatures with high power and evasion, allowing you to eliminate key threats while maintaining board control. However, there are arguably better options, such as Deadly Rollick or Assassin's Trophy, which offer more versatility and don't require the creature to deal combat damage to trigger their effects. While Acidic Dagger can be a fun and strategic card in certain niche builds, its conditional nature and the existence of more efficient removal spells may limit its playability in competitive formats.

Acidic Dagger does not affect the creature if all damage is prevented or redirected.
