Diese Karte wäre in einem Deck vorteilhaft, das sich auf -1/-1-Zähler und Kartenzug-Synergien konzentriert, wie z.B. ein Jund (-Schwarz, Rot, Grün) -1/-1-Zähler-Deck in Magic: The Gathering. Während Der Skorpion-Gott Kartenzug- und Kontrolloptionen bietet, gibt es möglicherweise bessere Karten wie Hapatra, Vizierin der Gifte oder Nest der Skarabäen für -1/-1-Zählerstrategien, abhängig vom Fokus des Decks.
