This card, Xenograft, would greatly benefit a tribal deck that focuses on a specific creature type, such as Elves, Goblins, or Merfolk, as it essentially turns all your creatures into the chosen type, synergizing well with tribal effects and abilities. However, a better alternative might be Conspiracy, which not only does the same thing but also allows you to choose the creature type as the game starts, providing more flexibility. Xenograft could still see play in decks looking for redundancy or additional support for tribal strategies.

Replacement effects that modify creatures of a certain type as they enter the battlefield will apply (or not apply) after you apply this effect. For example, if Warrior is the chosen creature type and you control Bramblewood Paragon, a Runeclaw Bear would enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter.
