This card, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, would be a great addition to a white weenie or aggro deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it slows down your opponents' ability to defend themselves by making their creatures and nonbasic lands enter the battlefield tapped. While it's a strong choice for disrupting your opponent's strategy, there may be better options depending on the specific deck and strategy you're using, such as Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, which taxes noncreature spells, or Leonin Arbiter, which disrupts opponent's searching abilities. Overall, Thalia, Heretic Cathar could see play in the right deck, especially in aggressive strategies aiming to gain tempo advantage.

If an effect states that a creature or land enters the battlefield tapped unless a condition is met, Thalia’s last ability has it enter tapped even if that condition is true. For example, your opponent may reveal a Plains while playing Port Town (from the Shadows over Innistrad set), but Port Town will still enter tapped.
