A control deck that focuses on board wipes and removal would benefit from including Spectacular Pileup in its strategy, as it offers a powerful mass removal effect that can clear the board of both creatures and Vehicles. However, there are better options available, such as Wrath of God or Day of Judgment, which provide similar effects at a lower cost without the downside of losing indestructible. Overall, Spectacular Pileup may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its high cost and drawbacks compared to more efficient alternatives.
