The Orzhov Basilica is best suited for a control or midrange deck that values mana fixing and tempo plays. While it can provide a dual white-black mana source, the drawback of returning a land to your hand can slow down your development. In some cases, other lands like Godless Shrine or Isolated Chapel may be more efficient options for mana fixing without the drawback of bouncing a land. However, Orzhov Basilica could still see play in certain budget or specific synergy-based decks that can benefit from its unique abilities.
