This card would benefit a green-based midrange or ramp deck that focuses on generating value through creating and sacrificing Food tokens. While Bristlebud Farmer provides card advantage and life gain, there are potentially better cards like Tendershoot Dryad or Tireless Tracker that offer more consistent value in a similar mana cost range.
