The Scarab God is a powerful card that would benefit a Zombie tribal deck, as it rewards you for having a high number of Zombies on the battlefield. While it is a strong option for such a deck, other cards like Grave Titan or Liliana, Untouched by Death may offer more immediate value or synergy with the theme. However, The Scarab God's recurring ability and flexibility make it a solid choice that could certainly see play in the right deck.

The number of Zombies you control is counted as The Scarab God’s first ability resolves. Players can try to change that number in response to the ability (perhaps by activating its second ability).
