The Talisman of Indulgence would be beneficial in a deck that relies on quick mana acceleration and color fixing, particularly in decks that include black and red mana. However, there are better options available such as the Arcane Signet which provides the same mana fixing without the drawback of dealing damage to you. While the Talisman of Indulgence could see play in certain budget decks or specific strategies, it may not be the optimal choice for more competitive or refined decks.
