**Morcant’s Eyes** would fit best in a Golgari (black-green) Elf tribal deck that leans into graveyard synergy, especially builds that self-mill or sacrifice creatures for value (such as with *Skullclamp*, *Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord*, or *Meren of Clan Nel Toth* in Commander), since the repeatable surveil fuels your graveyard and the late-game activation can convert stocked Elf cards into a large token burst; however, at three mana with no immediate board impact and a steep six-mana activation that requires sacrificing it, the card is likely too slow for competitive formats and even many optimized Commander lists would prefer stronger Elf payoffs like *Elvish Warmaster*, *Imperious Perfect*, *Tyvar Kell*, *Skemfar Shadowsage*, or mass-token engines such as *Lys Alana Huntmaster*, while graveyard-centric decks might rather run *Grisly Salvage*, *Guardian Project*, or *Beast Whisperer* for more efficient value, so although it could be a flavorful inclusion in a casual or grindy Elf aristo
