Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy would be a valuable addition to a Simic ramp or combo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides excellent mana acceleration and card advantage. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Kinnan's versatility and potential for explosive plays make it a strong contender for inclusion in decks focusing on non-Human creature synergies and mana generation. It is definitely a card worth considering for play in the right deck.

The additional mana is produced by Kinnan, not by the nonland permanent that you tapped for mana.

You’re “tapping a permanent for mana” only if you’re activating a mana ability of that permanent that includes the symbol in its cost. A mana ability produces mana as part of its effect.
