Decks that focus on generating multiple low-level monsters quickly, such as swarm or token decks, would benefit from using Heavy Polymerization to facilitate Fusion Summons using their abundance of resources. However, for a more efficient and versatile option, Instant Fusion could be considered a better alternative due to its quick playability and ability to summon a Fusion monster from the Extra Deck without requiring specific materials on the field or in hand. Heavy Polymerization could still see play in decks that can easily mitigate the LP loss or that have a strategic edge with its banishing effect.
