This card, Etude of the Branded, would greatly benefit a Dragon-themed Synchro deck, as it allows for quick Synchro Summons and provides protection against opponent's graveyard effects. While it has its niche uses, there are more versatile and powerful trap cards available in the current meta, such as Solemn Strike or Infinite Impermanence, which might be better options for competitive play. However, for a specific Dragon Synchro strategy, Etude of the Branded could still see play as a situational tech choice.
