Elsha of the Infinite would be a great addition to a Jeskai control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as her ability to cast noncreature spells from the top of the library with flash can provide unexpected and powerful plays. While she can be a strong inclusion in such decks, some players may prefer cards like Narset, Parter of Veils or Teferi, Time Raveler for their more immediate impact on the game. Elsha lets you look at the top card of your library whenever you want (with one restriction—see below), even if you don’t have priority. This action doesn’t use the stack. Knowing what that card is becomes part of the information you have access to, just like you can look at the cards in your hand.
