Sun-Dappled Celebrant (4WW, 4/5 with convoke and vigilance) fits best in a token-heavy white deck—such as Selesnya Tokens, go-wide Commander builds, or casual mono-white swarm strategies—where you can reliably tap multiple small creatures to convoke it out early and still maintain board presence; vigilance lets it attack while staying back on defense, which is solid in creature-centric midrange or board-wide strategies. However, as a six-mana creature without a strong enter-the-battlefield or game-swinging ability, it’s generally underpowered compared to alternatives like Venerated Loxodon (which also uses convoke but actively grows your team), Knight-Errant of Eos (which provides card advantage in go-wide decks), or even Serra Angel–style threats that offer more impactful board presence; in Commander, cards like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite or Adeline, Resplendent Cathar usually provide much stronger payoff for token builds. Overall, Sun-Dappled Celebrant is playable in casual or budget
