This card, Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep, would be beneficial in a deck focused on tribal synergies with Merfolk, Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents due to its ability to return all other creatures to their owners' hands. However, for a more competitive option, Cyclonic Rift is a more versatile board wipe that sees more play in various decks for its ability to deal with any nonland permanents. Slinn Voda could see play in casual tribal decks or specific themed decks, but for a more efficient and widely used option, Cyclonic Rift would be the better choice.
