A deck that focuses on life drain or life gain strategies would benefit from including Servant of Tymaret, as it provides a consistent source of life loss for opponents and life gain for the controller. While there may be more powerful cards available for similar effects, Servant of Tymaret can still be a solid inclusion in decks looking to maintain board presence and drain opponents' life totals over time.

A creature taps when its regeneration shield is used, not when the shield is created. Notably, you won’t be able to use Servant of Tymaret’s last ability to tap it so that its inspired ability will trigger unless Servant of Tymaret would be destroyed.
