A deck that aims to put pressure on the opponent's life total early on would benefit from including Raucous Carnival, as it can potentially enter untapped and provide mana acceleration for red or white spells. However, there are better options available such as Sacred Foundry or Clifftop Retreat for more consistent mana fixing and untapped lands. Raucous Carnival may not see much play in competitive decks due to its conditional untapped ability and limited color options compared to other dual lands.
