A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly and generating a large number of +1/+1 counters would benefit from including Primordial Hydra, as it can quickly become a massive threat with its doubling ability and trample. While there may be more efficient or versatile cards available, Primordial Hydra can still be a strong inclusion in decks looking to overwhelm opponents with a single, powerful creature. Its potential to grow exponentially makes it a formidable threat that should definitely see play in the right deck strategy.

Consider only the number of +1/+1 counters on Primordial Hydra when determining if it has trample, not its power and toughness. For example, a Primordial Hydra with six +1/+1 counters on it that’s been the target of Titanic Growth (giving it +4/+4) would not have trample.
