It’s strongest in metas where board positioning and base-based synergies matter, such as decks that gain bonuses when units re-enter base or that punish opponents for losing battlefield presence. However, if the format includes cheaper or broader bounce effects (for example, a 1-cost instant-speed return-to-base spell without setup, or a card that removes a unit outright instead of just moving it), those would generally be stronger due to efficiency or permanence.
