Enlistment Officer would be a valuable addition to a Soldier tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing card advantage and synergy with other Soldier cards. However, a potentially better alternative could be Preeminent Captain, which not only puts Soldiers directly onto the battlefield but also has the potential to cheat out higher-cost Soldiers for free. Enlistment Officer could still see play in a Soldier-themed deck as a solid support card for card advantage and early board presence.
