This card could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on card advantage and has a diverse sideboard to choose from. However, the randomness and high cost of playing it may make it less competitive compared to more consistent and efficient cards. Decks that can reliably manipulate their library or have ways to consistently win the Visit condition may find some use for Cover the Spot, but overall, it may not see much play in highly competitive settings.
