Coruscation Mage would be a great addition to a red-blue Spellslinger deck in Magic: the Gathering, where players focus on casting a high volume of noncreature spells to trigger powerful effects. While Coruscation Mage's ability to deal damage to each opponent when a noncreature spell is cast is valuable, there are potentially better options such as Young Pyromancer or Sprite Dragon that offer more consistent value and impact on the board. However, Coruscation Mage could still see play in more casual or themed decks looking to have fun with creating token copies of creatures.
