A deck focused on generating and sacrificing Clue tokens for value, such as a midrange or control deck, would benefit from using Briarbridge Patrol in Magic: the Gathering. While Briarbridge Patrol offers a unique card advantage engine, there are potentially better cards like Tireless Tracker or Tamiyo, Collector of Tales that provide more consistent and powerful effects. However, Briarbridge Patrol could see play in a thematic or casual deck that aims to abuse Clue tokens for creature cheat strategies.

Briarbridge Patrol’s first ability will only trigger once per combat damage step, regardless of how many creatures it deals damage to.

If you sacrifice a Clue for another card’s cost or effect, such as that of Angelic Purge or Tamiyo’s Journal, you can’t also pay and sacrifice it to draw a card.
