This card would be beneficial in a sacrifice-themed deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a way to grow stronger by sacrificing creatures. However, there are better cards like Carrion Feeder which can also grow in power but without the need to pay an additional cost to put counters on it. Bloodflow Connoisseur could still see play in decks looking for redundancy or additional sacrifice outlets, but overall, there are more efficient options available for this strategy.

You can sacrifice Bloodflow Connoisseur to pay the cost for its own ability. In this case, nothing happens as the ability resolves.
