Armored Transport would fit well in a defensive or control-oriented deck, particularly one that focuses on stalling the game while building up resources or setting up a combo, as its ability to prevent combat damage from blocking creatures allows it to remain on the battlefield longer. However, there are arguably better options for similar roles, such as Wall of Omens for card draw or Troll Ascetic for its versatility and regeneration. While Armored Transport can see play in niche strategies or casual formats, it may not be the most competitive choice compared to other defensive creatures that offer additional benefits.
